Winflash Utility Keeps Crashing!!

Hi, I have a shuttle sn41g2 and I noticed there is a new bios for it 9/04/03. I have no floppy in this computer so I need to use a windows flash utility. A month or so ago I had a program called Winflash and it worked great. I seem to have deleted the program. After searching google and the forums here I can't find one that works anywhere. I tryed one but it crashed and doesn't work. Is there an official site for the program?

Thanks

Ok i got winflash from ecs's website like everyone else seems to have done. Everytime I open the exe it crashes and says "WINFLASH.exe has generated errors and willb e closed by windows You will need to restart the program An error log is being created" Ok I check the error log and this is a description of the error it gives me. "The WINFLASH service failed to start due to the following error: The system cannot find the file specified." How can it not find it?

By the way this winflash program works fine on my main computer.

you might try deleting the whole folder that has this prog in it and then copying it to where you want to use it. i've used a windows flash utility (just less of a hassle) and it may be the same one. i had no probs at all. but that's what i'd try first. clean up and start over at the beginning.

Try to get the Winflash from Shuttle, not ECS. That could help things. You're lucky your board still works.

I may be wrong, but it seems to me that these utilities look for the string in all the BIOS that are extant on the PC in question. I've used a generic windows flasher on my CD-R/RW's with good results. On my mobo I didn't have it at the time and used the old tried and true DOS boot disk, but I think that if i do it again (I've done so several times) I'll prob use a windows utility. I expect no probs when I do.

Well I tryed to get both to work. I think people with other boards were using the one on ecs's site. It doesn't matter though, I can't even get the program to open fully before it crashes. So I didn't even get to flashing it. I've also downloaded the program many times to different locations and it still fails.
