Whaaa what's 1850s wine taste like?

Good is about all I can say. At that point in my life I was strictly a beer drinker. It was the first really good wine I'd ever had so it was wasted on me. My FIL is a master sommelier (it's his hobby) so he opened that bottle on his 60th birthday not too long after I started dating my now-wife. I have had many good wines since then. :awe:
