WinDVD vs. PowerDVD

Well - I have PowerDVD and it's okay.... except it doesn't seem to like my Rage128 Pro in hardware mode. :( In software mode it works fine, but a black screen is never totally black... stupid dark grey "spots" all over.
So which do you guys prefer WinD or PowerD?

i personally prefer win dvd

i cant get svcds to work w/ power dvd

anyone have any other real basis in aruging why one is better than another?

PowerDVD 4.0 XP


supports VCD/SVCD properly, has DTS and Dolby Digital EX (7.1) decoding, Dolby Prologic 2, downmixes the LFE channel properly, has a bunch of video adjustments, etc.

PowerDVD 3.0 doesn't support SVCD, you have to play the .dat file on the VCD directly. The new version supports SVCD.
