WinDVD vs. PowerDVD

I installed both on my new K7-1.33ghz system w/ ATI Radeon 64mb DDR 256mb PC 2100 ram. PowerDVD seems to have better sound quality and visual quality, whilst WinDVD is supposedly supported my ATI Radeon's Decoder feature. Moreover WinDVD skips some frames. What's up with that?
