Not sure if that was a coincidence or not, but my wipers stopped working the first day it got really cold and snowed.

Is there anything I can do/check so I can get a better understanding of what happened? It's a 1997 Hyundai Sonata... and yes I know the car sucks.

Thanks for any help.

I just realized that I can't spray windshield washer fluid either - does this further indicate a fuse problem?

The temperature has been above freezing for a couple days since this happened. I thought it was frozen too at first but that can't be it anymore.

Thanks woodie, that was the problem, I replaced the fuse this morning. As you could probably tell I don't know anything about cars.

Thanks again!

Also, if your winters include steady snowfalls (i.e.-up north), you might consider putting winter blades on your car. They're really nothing more than a regular wiper blade with a rubber covering over the mechanism that holds the wiper blade, but it keeps the snow & ice from accumulating in there, which should make it easier for your wipers to work, and put less strain on your wiper motor. :)
