What type do you guys use? I've always used ANCO which are the cheapest you can buy. But they last only a few months. I decided to get the BOSH Marathon (14.00 a blade). They seem to be better. Are they really worth it...

If your blades are only lasting a few months you are doing something wrong.

How are they not working? You do know you need to clean wiper blades to make them last right? Take some washer fluid or glass cleaner and wet a paper towel, then wipe the blade down itself. That will keep them clean and lasting a long time.

They start to make the rubber "clattering" sound against the glass. I didn't realize you had to clean the wiper???

I would suspect you are using them to scrape ice off the windshield. that will destroy the rubber in no time.

What type of washer fluid are you using....if it has alcohol, that can dry out the rubber.
Here in Florida (no worry of freezing fluids) I use Clorox Green Works, a couple of ounces per gallon....

Yep sounds like they are just dirty if the rubber is not broken.

Like I said before clean them and under them on the glass and watch them come back to life.

I still have the wiper blades that came with my 2006 GTO and 2007 Vette. No need to change them if you never need to use them. 🙂

Wiper blades have a lot of factors.

I know when I didn't have a garage I would need to replace them every 6-8 months. Now that I have a garage I seem to make it 1.5 years and then some.
