WindowsXP and PowerDVD 3

Anyone here having any problems. Doesn't seem to work at all for me.... Works fine in Win2k, etc...

I know this sounds dumb but I found the XP DVD player to be just as good as Power DVD.

VCD's worked for me. Watched Crouching Tiger with it.

PowerDVD 3 works fine in XP RC1 for me. AC-3 passthru even worked, which is nothing short of miraculous compared to win2k 😉

thats weird, what your hardware specs

P3 933/CUSL2/512 RAM/Pioneer 6x SCSI DVD/SoundBlaster Live/Geforce2MX (using the 12.41 drivers from Nvidia as opposed to 12.40 that comes with RC1).

david what video card are you useing?


I was useing a ati radeon

I have a TNT2 Ultra. When I tried running Power DVD I recieved some kind of error stating somthing couldn't be initialized. I don't remember the exact error, I'll try it tonight.
