I just made a clean install of Windows XP Pro on my new computer but I am having a lot of problems. First, I constantly get random blue screen errors and fatal errors. I cannot track down the source of these errors, but do you have any ideas?

Have you looked at the Event Viewer, or which driver caused the Bluescreen? (it often says something like error in "somefile.drv" - I havent seen a blue screen in 2.5 years)

its either a hardware device driver, bad memory, or a dieing harddisk drive.

Read the URL in my .sig, do all those steps, then send me the .cab file and the .dmp files... typically I can tell you what the problem is, and others on here can help out too.

I found this post a little too late, I took my computer into a tech support place today and it should be fixed by Friday. If they can't fix it I will tell you dclive.
