Windows XP Startup menu problem

I'll skip the long story, I have a half installed Windows XP Professional on a system that already has Win XP Pro installed, so as it boots up after reading the hardware it pops up a small dos menu.

Windows XP Professional
> Windows XP Professional Setup

Now the install is not needed, and its a pain since it is the defaul choice.. if I am not around while the PC is booting it attempts to complete this install process. How do I remove the "Windows XP Professional Setup"?

Right click on My Computer, Properties. Advanced -> Startup and Recovery. Uncheck "Time to display list of operating systems" or set it to zero. You could also manually edit it but if you have no idea what you're doing that's probably not a good idea, the one above is probably better.
