No SMART but do you have an option to enable/disable write-back cache?

Definately enable that.

You should have some sort of console with options.

The version you're using has that.


Never mind.....I see you do.

realize what you are doing (esp with power outage, hard reset) you will almost guarantee a raid failure

'Tis true but if you're running RAID0 without backups and a UPS there's probably gonna be a major problem somewhere down the line anyway. :D

I wouldn't depend on any RAID for a backup.
