Windows XP simple networking issue

I have two computers, both running XP in a workgroup.

I shared one folder and give it "Everyone" permissions.

One the second computer I type, \\supercomputer\folder

and it always prompts a popup window,

"Connect to supercomputer"
Username:
Password:

Why does it keep prompting me to enter a username and pw, I gave it permissions for Everyone. I even added a user and the user login/pw doesn't work! arggggg.

Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is allowed to be shared.
