Windows XP shutdown problem

Hi, had installed a wallpaper picture in windows xp. Now can not find the pic in the drop down menu under wallpaper, but the pic shows up for a second when windowsxp is shutting down. I have searched for the pic but without any luck. Where would I find this pic on the compter and how can I remove it.
Would appreciated any help.

Have you tried just switching to a differnt pic, then if its cool with that, switching back to the default background of your choice? That worked for me once before a while back.
