Windows XP Setup Error

I have a Gigabyte 7N400 PRO 2 motherboard and I am trying to install Windows XP MCE 2005 to a new 2 x 160GB raid 0 array. After I press F6 and choose the right drive for the ITE RAID chipset it gives me the following error.

File \WinXP\iteraid.sys caused an unexpected error (18) at
line 2113 in D:\XPSPRTM\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.

Press any key to continue

These are the updated drives downloaded off of the Gigabyte site. Anyone have an idea why this happens?

Would it help to move the driver onto the Windows XP CD? How would I go about doing that?

Your drivers need to be on a floppy, which XP should be prompting you for a few minutes after hitting the F6 key.

Seems to me like it's loading drivers from the XP CD (the error message shows a path from the D drive), which means you're loading generic drivers that may not work properly.

I pressed F6 to load the drives. It read the floppy, I picked the driver off of the screen (located on the floppy) and that is when I got my error.

Slikkster: I was not getting the same error as the person in that thread was.

I finally gave up on loading them from the floppy and started looking around on how to move the drivers to the Windows XP CD. Witht he help from a few guides (http://unattended.msfn.org/ gave me the most info) I was able to complete this task after only making 7 coasters. I am now up and running on my RAID array.
