Windows XP Service Pack 2 Beta - Popup blocking and some other features.

it's still beta, I'm sure the final release will be trimmed somewhat.

although in all honesty I'm not that surprised at it's size, they have updated quite a few components...

Had to laugh though when your title mentioned the popup blocking... Considering there are so many viruses getting in via that means or a similar means, its about time. I kinda went, "No kidding, they finally figured they ought to do something about that."
 
Ars Technica had a good review of the beta pack. I thought the author made an interesting comment that people will just use the browser that came with their computer. Wasn't this one of the big points in the whole Microsoft anti-trust case? Heh, I had the strangest sense of insecurity switching from Fedora Core 1 back to WinXP.
