Windows XP Screen Saver

I just got back from school and the screensaver on this computer won't work. It's just the standard Win XP logo screensaver. I have tried changing the screensaver and the time settings but that hasn't worked. I don't believe any third party screensavers were ever installed either.

Any suggestions on how to get it to work?
