Windows XP restarts itself while playing Warcraft!

Hi all,
I got a 1.8GB P4, Asus P533 mobo, ATI 8500 128MB desktop. Windows XP Pro is in game. It ran smoothly until i installed Warcraft. When i play Warcraft, sometimes the computer restarts in the middle of the game. Anybody has this kind of problem before? Please give me advice to fix it.SP1 and is kept up to date with patches and updates

This really doesn't belong in this forum. It's a problem with Warcraft not Windows XP. Try Blizzard's site and see if they have any patches.

Thats a weird problem and I do think that it can only be solved throuigh som sort of patch. Does it do this playing any other game???

i have played warcraft 3 v1 through the latest versions and i have never had a random reboot

I have a 2.1 p4, via mobo, gf3 ti200, and xphome

Yah, 2 nono's in this post, and they're both software related.

Either a driver issue or perhaps heat/general system instability.

I would give you the benefit of a doubt. It's a heat issue with the GPU.
