Windows XP reboots after shutting down

Just built a new pc. No hassles getting xp on there. The problem is that when I shut down windows it powers down ok shuts off the screen goes black and then it reboots. Any suggestions anyone?

Get in to your bios screen by hitting the delete key (this applies to most MB's but others are different) on your keyboard right after you press the power button before you see the Windows Splash screen and go into power management. Look for something similar to Wake-on-LAN and Wake-On-Modem, disable both of them. Save your changes and exit. Let us know if this helps.
