Windows XP reboot loop after drive removal

Here is my setup:

I have my boot HDD on Primary Master jumpered to Master
I have my DVD burner on Primary Slave jumpered to Slave
I have a another HDD on Secondary Master jumpered to Master

I removed the drives to do a TiVo upgrade and when I put them back in I get stuck in a continuous reboot right after the initial Windows XP boot screen.

I have tried booting with just the Master drive and the same thing happens.

Any clues as to what this might be?

I've had that happen and had to reinstall windows

Try safe mode. Try a system restore. Try a repair, maybe a fix mbr, maybe a chkdsk, see what happens.
