Windows XP RC1 and Linksys Etherfast BEFSR41 - Help

Hello,
I just installed Windows XP RC1 and it doesn't connect to the internet if I connect my Cable Modem to the Linksys BEFSR41 Cable/DSL Router! Does anyone have it running with it? I'm using my Cable Modem directly to the NIC right now in order to connect. I can't figure it out! It appears to detect the DHCP settings just fine as it did with Windows 2000 Pro. Please help with any advice!

Hi,

Did you setup the LinkSys box from the XP machine or was it already setup from another machine? If it was setup from another machine you just need to power down the LinkSys box, power up, reboot your XP machine. If you setup the LinkSys box from the XP machine then PM me.

Hey Bingo,
The Linksys was setup on the XP Machine (this one I'm using). I tried rebooting, power off/on the Linksys router and it still won't allow me to connect to the Internet. I'll send you a PM! Thank You for your response.

I have the same router and when i installed winXP i didnt have any problems..thats real weird i guess

Not yet. I want it so bad!! Klipsch Rep. said he can sell them on the 15th! =)
