Windows XP professional OEM License $ 80

With the different versions like retail, OEM, Corporate, I wonder which type CD you will have to have in order to get the license code to work.

I smell something funny with this deal. You pay $80 for a licence key and then you hit Kazaa for a download? WTF.
 
If this is legit it could be a great savings opportunity. For those of you asking where to get the cd. Any reseller should have a spare windows OEM cd laying around. These individuals are who would benefit from this.
 
I've spoken with Microsoft about these deals several months ago when I wanted to jump on 9software.com deal and while MS admits they could never track them all down, it is not legit to sell just an OEM key.

True. OEM copies of MS products are supposed to be sold with hardware.
 
If you are a system builder you already have the CD. All you need is the license key. Do you get a XP CD when you buy a Dell ?????????

To put it another way, why do you think MS sells the keys without the CD's ? Are they stoopid ?

They don't even sell you a real version of the OS with the machine.

I would be leery of buying a key from someone without the Microsoft cd. How do you know they didn't just find a keygen off Kazaa?

a real license key requires a certificate. if you purchase a license key, i'd expect at least that certificate at least, even if it's oem.
