She can log on in safe mode using her password . In normal mode when she enters her password,it seems to load,then goes back to the screen asking for user password . ??
 
You need to boot up off of the windows xp cd and go to the Recovery console.

Once at the console type in the following:

cd system32

Then type:

copy userinit.exe wsaupdater.exe

type exit and let the pc reboot

you should now be able to log into windows. 🙂
