Windows XP Pro VS Windows 2000 Pro?
I have legit copys of each at my disposal...Which should i use?
My system:
Athlon Tbird 900mhz
Asus A7V (the first edition)
IBM GXP75 30 gig HD
SBlive value
Winfast Geforce2 gts 32mb

Well i was thinking if i upgrade anytime soon then isnt that a waist of a copy of xp pro with product auth and all?? I was thinkin about just stickin with 2k since ive had it for so long and its so friendly. what do u guys think?
 
They're both pretty close IMHO. I use XP now because it boots faster but if forced to use Win2K, I wouldn't really care. *shrug*
 
Another vote for Windows 2000. XP still have compatibility problems sometimes and I've heard all too many times people complaining that their hardware just doesn't work in XP or simply won't take the 2000 drivers.
