Hi i was wondering where i could find the ultimate windows XP tweaking guide for speed and performance. I love playing games and i want to sweeze as much power from the operating system as i can. Thanks
 
google it... but in all honesty, I've tried tweaking the hell out of Windows myself, and I didn't notice any better gaming performance.
 
I agree with Abos, tweaking Windows wil get you maybe ~25-30 FPS more in games but the risk isn't worth it. With each tweak comes a greater chance of screwing something up.

25-30? I think you mean more like 2.5-3 😉 (unless you're referring to Q3A, in which case 1% of 2500 fps is 25 fps 😀).
