I have windows xp pro with sp1 and i was wondering if there is a way to disable scandisk running on improper shutdowns/boot? I did a search and didnt find any results, sorry if this has already been answered. thanks in advance
 
I'm curious, why would you want to disable a feature that will, usually, save a lot of trouble?😕
 
If you're having the problem where it keeps running on reboot go to the Tools menu on your HDD and set ScanDisk to run on next system startup. That usually fixes it for me.
