Hi,

I really hope that someone can help me to fix this problem. Whenever I boot up, I get a parameter passing error in Lsass.exe. It shows up right before my logon screen, and after I click OK, my computer restarts. I tried to boot up with the Windows XP professional disk in, but for some reason, either my CD rom isnt being bootable, or the CD isnt working properly. I was wondering if there is a way to use a boot disk and get to a repair utility on the WinXP cdrom. If so, what is the repair program, and how do I access it?

If you have any other ideas or solutions, please let me know, I am really stuck on this one, and with exams coming up, I would like to be able to use my computer.

Thanks, everyone here is always so helpful

The only information I could find about lsass.exe all was related to Win2K or NT4. As far as booting from CD you need to make sure that your BIOS is set to boot from CD-Rom before that will work.

Yeah, I looked for anything I could on it... nothing at all.

I think my drive has some issues where it cant boot from CD, it is an older 12x. It checks and then just continues to boot from C:

Thanks for the help though
