Windows XP Media Center Edition - Remove folder from My Video

I have MCE 2005 installed. After installing drivers for my HP OfficeJet 6100 all in one printer, I now have a folder in My Video call HP OfficeJet 6100 Series when I run Media Center. If I select the remove folder option, that folder is not there for me to remove. Is there a way to remove that folder (via registry entry, etc)??

it seems like it's the scanner portion of the OfficeJet. if I remove the scanner from my device manager, it removes that folder. if it is installed... it puts a folder in "My Video" with the scanner name.... weird. anyone know how to prevent MCE from doing this?

I have had this same problem with my HP PSC 1200 series printer... and have not been able to find a solution on google.

LMK if you find out how to fix it.

I changed the settings in HP Director ... it autosaves to some file within my documents ... this caused the folder to disappear

but then my computer crashed for some other reason .. .and when i restored image and did the same thing again; it didn't work

so YMMV
