Windows XP Logging On

This is probably a dumb question, but I would like my computer to not show the Welcome screen or standard log on box when I turn on my computer. I am the only one that uses this computer and this is pointless. I've tried tinkering with the User Accounts settings in the Control Panel and don't see any options to disable this.

BTW, what is ASP.NET in my User Accounts list?

I have a similar problem too. I now have a welcome screen that just lists my acct. It has to do with my installation of Microsoft Visual.net. When it installs, it creates a user acct called "Debug" or something (don't remember, not at the computer). This causes the welcome screen to prompt you to pick a user, even tho you are the only user listed.

I found a fix for this a few months back, you needed to use power toys or edit some registry settings. I don't exactly remember and I never bothered trying to fix it. I found out this info be searching the forums for something like: "logon" or "user" in titles only.

Download TweakUI from Microsoft. It is part of Powertoys pack for XP. That has so many tweaks it in. Login changes is one of them. You can download it Here
