This morning I went to reload Win XP Pro and failed product activation. I was given the run around by MS suppor on the phone this morning. My copy is a legit OEM purchased from Newegg in 2001. In the last few years I always had to reactivate over the phone since internet activation was a no go. Now MS support blacklisted the key claiming over use of a total of 19 activations since 2001.
They gave me an email address to basically appeal the blacklist but its not worth my time and I will just reinstall using a TechNet key from my account. Anybody else experiencing this bull sh@t from MS.
