Windows XP keeps setting the time back

Windows XP Pro keeps setting the system time back to March 19, 2002 one hour before the current time. This happens pretty much randomly as far as I can tell, but at least about once a week. It's pretty weird, help would be appreciated.

Well, it has to be within a few hours of the server's time in order to do that, not several months. Resetting the time's not that hard, I just want to find out what's doing it.

And Tarfin, uh.... a lot.

i had a powerup timer installed for unreal tournament... that screwed up my system clock a bit... but as soon as i stop using that, the system keeps correct time.

double-click the clock, make sure your time zone is set properly, then use the internet time tab to enable/disable automatic clock synchronization. if you have "internet time" on and your time zone wrong, what you described will happen
