I just ordered the Pro upgrade for a great price($89.95, it pays to be a student :) ), so I'll tell you what I think when I get it.

I'm liking it more and more. Its either this or W2K. nothing else (except for playing with Linux.I do not make linux my OS of choice because I like IE). :)

never has it crashed ONCE

I'm really surprsied how the OS is handling errors.. instead of crashing and BSOD, it resorts to extreme lag.. trying to stablize things one by one.. and then it becomes steady...

That depends.

My computer wouldn't boot this morning before I left for work. It would just hang at the XP splash screen, even in safe mode.

If it doesn't work when I get home, it will be :|

It's a :)

But it did crash twice since I've had it at the beginning of September. Once because of mobo issues, and the second just because of the OS.

XP is a face too... tongue sticking out, eyes closed.

been using it for a few days. it's nice that i can use my vortex 2 card finally, win2000 didn't really dig it. the transparency f/x kick ass.

oh yeah, :) - stability rocks.

I like it. The only thing I do that crashes is when I open the software for my USB data link cable on the XP machine first and then the 98 machine. If I open the software on the 98 machine first I have no problem at all.
