i have windows xp pro, sp2 with all critical updates installed

the system has an administrator account and my account called "Tim", who also has adminstrator access

since I changed the settings to not display the welcome screen and use windows 2000 "classic" logon screens it has been automatically logging in as Administrator

i'd like to have it automatically log in as Tim instead...

Download powertoys for windows xp. If I remember correctly, there is a setting in there for you to pick the user and auto-login.

don't need powertoys:
Go to start -> run
type in "control userpasswords2" (without quotes)
it's all in there.
