Windows XP - How do i activate it if the system is for a friend?

Im building a system for a friend... How do i activate it, do i just use their information??
 
You don't have to activate XP to finish building the system. Once you're done building the system, let your friend activate it.
 
Right . . . you got 30 days to activate. Should be time enough to deliver and let friend do it.
 
not exactly the answers you were looking for eh?..... well there are a lot of interesting things available on some of the peer to peer file sharing sites. Of course there are probably a lot of virus's & trojan horses out there that I'm sure you don't want either. Sometimes it's better to minimize your risks & do the right thing, imho. Especially if you know how to build. Good Luck.
