windows XP home won't remember passwords

I am new to XP. Every time I open up my Outlook Exoress to check mail it ask for my password for my main account. It doesn't matter if you check the box to remember it. It won't remember my log-in to this forum or any other. I know this is a simple matter, But I am stumped thanks for any help

Run the services program modifier thingy (services.msc =)
One of these services is required to save passwords, and I think its Security Accounts Manager.
