OK I upgraded to windows XP a long time ago

My rig has fireball 20gb HD and a 4.3 quantum

4.3 boot drive the 20 is drive d:\

i want to convert both to ntfs

4.3 transfers without a glitch....

20gb says should scan the disk first sure thing.... try and it gives me "The type of the file system is FAT32.
An unspecified error occurred."

I never got this in windows ME nor 98... me not a newbie me just wanna know how i can scandisk the fat32 drive

thx

peace out

i looked in the faq earlier it is not....

i cannot chkdsk de fat32 and therefore the errors are not fixed, hence no ntfs on the 20gb HD/..........

is the only solution to hook it up to a windowsx 98 or ME rig and scan the disk there ?

peace out
