Windows XP Error Report Question

In booting up a client's computer with Windows XP-SP3 installed, I am typically getting a dialog that an application had an issue and asking if I want to send an error report. When I click on the Details link, I see that the problem was with explorer.exe and the problem child is a module named xojvqyba.dll. I cannot find any record of this DLL anywhere on the 'net.

Has anyone heard of that module before or knows what it does? Spybot and Kapersky AV don't hit on it as anything malicious.

Thanks,
Merg

With nearly 100% certainty, I can state that anything named "xojvqyba" is malware. These names are sometimes random, to make identification more difficult. Try some other malware scanners, such as Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware.

I was thinking the exact same thing, yet I couldn't find anything on the web about it. Usually, I get at least one hit from someone that has seen it before. I just find it strange that multiple AV programs and spyware programs haven't hit on it.

I'm performing a search right now on the harddrive to actually locate the DLL itself.

Thanks,
Merg
