I bought Windows XP Professional about 1.5 years ago from Newegg. I've been looking around recenlty for it and I think I've lost it somewhere. Is there anyway Microsoft could mail me a new one without a serial number since I saved it, or would they not do that. Thanks alot.
 
Can't you just borrow a friend's installation media and burn a copy of it? As long as you've paid once for it (and have a serial #) there's no problem in copying the media itself.
