Windows XP and Printer Drivers

Hello everyone,

I have a Brother laser printer, an HL-1435 and while I downloaded the self install, driver program, from Brother, what happens now is that whenever I turn on the printer, I get the message: Found New Hardware, despite the fact that I have this Brother Laser printer, set as the default printer, within Windows XP Pro.

Can anyone explain to me how to resolve this issue?
