Windows XP and My Raid Setup problem

I have 2 maxtor 60 gig HDs set up in a raid 0. Under winXP, i ran sisoft sandra and the scores are horrible. I get like 7000+. I heard that the ATA/100 is disabled at default and i used tweak xp which turns on the ata/100 but only for the intel chipsets. Does anyone know how to do it for the AMD760/VIA 686B chipset?

I have a Gigabyte 7DXR by the way, you can see it at my rig in my signature
 
a little bit off topic, do you have any acpi incompatibilities with xp and raid? i cant seem to go into standby mode, turn on the raid off, or hibernation mode. each time it would result in a lock.

i'm using raid with 2 maxtor 40 diamondmax 60. i dont have any performance issues
