Windows XP: Alt + F5??

Confirmed. I have an ATI R9800 pro and it switches to the secondary monitor when I hit alt F5.

I have a Radeon 9700 Pro, single monitor, and it momentarily goes black as well

it did absolutely nothing for me, but then again I'm already using the primary and secondary monitors.

Try just f5

F5 is refresh, ctrl-F5 refreshes with no regard to whats in the cache, at least thats what ive been told

Maybe it looks for other inputs? I have ATI as well and it did nothing but I have a dual setup.

also @ the f5 button, pressing fn-f5 resets the screen....like recalibration....

It switches your monitors. I use it to switch to my TV when Im watching a DVD. My problem with it is I can't seem to get it to keep those settings. Everytime I have to go to settings then set it to alt+f5 and click apply
