Windows XP: Alt + F5??

It does it on mine, and then it brings up an ATI box asking if I wanted to keep the new applied settings...I clicked no..

anybody know what it does?

If you are on a laptop, the Fn (right by alt) + F5 will switch to your external monitor port. Maybe that is what happened.

On several notebooks, it toggles to the external video... It's more of a hardware/bios thing than windoze, though, I think.

I'm pretty sure that's what it is, but I don't have the ATI control panel thing to test it out.

indeed. it makes the 2nd output the primary output and blacks out your screen. I did that once and i thought my vid card broke. just rehit it and it's all good.

Sweet, I can use this at home. My secondary is a 33" that I use for movies and I always have to open the display dialog and make it a primary manually. This will be wicked if it works.
