Windows XP ACCESS DENIED?!

I'm having a problem with windows xp pro, it write protected a folder and says Access Denied the folder may be write protected.
Also it says for some files I just recently downloaded that I can't access winxp says they are in use by other programs, I tried rebooting, safe mode, but the file is still in use.

can anyone help me?

I'm not sure but you may have to be logged on as administrator. ??

no i'm pretty sure its not that i'm the only one who uses the computer plus i assigned myself as only admin
could it be something with the file sharing program?
because it happened when i used direct connect and another occaision with morpheus

try copying the file to another folder, then try deleting the source folder then secondary folder.. worked for me.. forget what for.
