About a week ago I got a new ISP, and because of the stupid modem they gave me I couldn't simply 'plug and play' rather I had to install software that configured them modem to my particular ISP account, and computer settings.

While it did that, it took control of my computers Wireless connection configuration.

I've found that a temporary fix is to go in and manually restart the WZC configuration, and set it to start upon windows startup. UNFORTUNATELY, it doesn't start up regardless of whether the box is checked or not.

Is there anyway to overwrite any modifications my stupid ISP's software made? I've already uninstalled the program.

RyanSengara, did you log to the services screen and check the WZCSVC to start Automatically?

If you do not have a WZC in the services, check if your Windows Systen32 folder has the file wzcsvc.dll, if this file is not existing you would have he find someone with similar version of WinXP and copy the file to your system32 folder.

If you have the file in the folder and the WZCSVC is not appearing in the services screen you have to register it by going to Start-Run type "Regsvr32 wzcsvc.dll" (no quotes) and press Enter.
