Problem: everything was working fine on my computer, except I had some problems with TF2, so I tried to update some drivers. I have a Abit Via k8t800pro, so i went to Via's site and downloaded the chipset/platform drivers. 84% into the install, it stopped for ~15 minutes, so i just ended the task, and went on to try TF2 (worked. i also installed newest directx). Then, i rebooted my computer, and now everytime it goes to the windows loading screen (not the welcome / user logon, but with the little progress bar) it blue screens for about a tenth of a second (i can barely see it) and then reboots. safe mode will not load either. i'd much rather not reformat, is there any way to try to troubleshoot this?

- when starting up computer, BSOD then auto reboots at windows loading (not user logon/welcome) screen
- probably related to mobo driver installation crashing part way through
- halp? :(
