Lastnight I was trying to just shut down my computer, but nothing would happen, it woulden't even restart nor log off, but it would goto standby and probably hibernate or not... I used system restore 3 times and went back too my sunday's checkpoint and nothing helped. Anyone know a way to get around this other than reinstalling windows? So now I have to turn off my computer with the hard shutdown with the power button. I don't wanna risk my RAID 0 config with 240 gigs on the line. Help please.

Thanks

Doh... yea I previously had the same problem cept i coulden't shut down from the start menu but i could from the pc. But that was last year and I recently had a reformat a few months ago.. fun.. time to install like 30 programs which half I will not use and a couple of gig's of games and have to update them. Also back up all the stuff I have downloaded. FUN!

Update:

I just noticed that the system restore never worked for me... I've tried all the saves for the restore which none of them worked... also in safe mode I am able to shut down and restart.
