Windows Won't shutdown: Fixed now...yaaaa

Everytime I try and shut down my computer reboots as if I selected restart instead of shutdown ...any ideas?

Start, shutdown and yes I select "shutdown" but the computer just reboots. I have windows 98se. I reset bios to default thinking maybe it was in there but no go...oh well...I'm off until tuesday snowmobiling...I'll check back with this thread then...thanks for any help I can get....

Go to microsoft.com and do a search, they have some suggestion there. Try "fast shutdown" or something like that in your search.

I ended up resetting the cmos on the motherboard and that fixed it....🙂
