windows won't load

I tried to OC and didn't work out.
so I changed all the settings back to default and restarted computer.
it goes past the mobo screen but no windows logo comes up.
how can I fix this problem...

Begin by checking that your motherboard's boot-device priority list is set correctly, especially if you happen to have several hard drives. What motherboard does your computer use, if you happen to know off the top of your head?

Ok, and if you go into your BIOS menu and enter Standard CMOS Features, the motherboard does actually show the hard drive as connected, right?

And in Advanced BIOS Features, if you go into the Hard Disk Boot Priority sub-menu, it has the correct drive on top of the stack (in the event that you have several drives)?

If the motherboard knows the drive is there, it's at the top of the HDD list and it still won't boot, you might need to either do a repair install of Windows, method #2 so you can back up your stuff, or try some diagnostics to restore bootability.

yes they recognize hard drive
but in BIOS standard CMOS does it matter if hard drive is channel 0 or ch 1?
because hard drive is in ch 1 master (in ch 0 master is DVD drive)
but in advanced CMOS hard drive is first device to be booted from.
if that doesn't matter I guess I will be reinstalling Windows...

If it was working before with the drive on channel 1, then it should still be working now, so it sounds like the Windows reinstallation is next, although you could try FIXMBR from the Recovery Console first. Good luck!

Did you change your IDE controller from AHCI to Standard IDE to Raid (or similar) when you were making changes?

Does safe mode boot work?
