Help, in my display settings and in all games the highest resolution I can choose is 1024x768x16. I have a geforce 2 mx which I know is capable of 2000xsomething, and my monitor is a crappy proview but it is capable of 12XXx9XX, but for some reason Windows doesn't think so. I have downloaded the specific drivers for my monitor but to no avail. I have used the plug and play monitor driver to no avail. The weird thing is I used to be able to choose 12xx, but I don't know what I messed up, probably changing detonator drivers around (using 12.10's now). Anyone know how I can get the higher resolutions back?? I can't even choose 32bit now. I think it's my monitor driver. Thanks.

Try to remove your driver in safe mode first, reboot then reinstall the graphic card driver. Hope it works!
Good luck
