I upgraded my case and now windows will not boot. it gets to the windows splash screen and then it hangs for awhile and reboots. Ican get into safe-mode, but not normal-mode.

Here are my specs:
AMD Duron 850
MSI K7T Pro2-A
196MB PC100 RAM
Enlight 7237 W/Enlight 300W PSU
Win98 SE

TIA, micron

Check for anything heat related. Is the heatsink on properly? Did you use paste or a pad or something? Is the cpu fan working? Case fan?

check the cable connections, reseat the ram, cards, and CPU. Something is probably just a little loose. Or you fried something during the transfer. It could be locking up when trying to load drivers for the device that is fried. Remove the modem/nic/sound/etc and try booting putting one back in at a time until it craps out again.
