Microsoft doesn't care about pirating software. Its publicity to them.

Albeit, MS is out about a few billion every year in revenue, they make up for it with less advertising costs.

Hi there,
GTB You have once again started a wonderful thread going on here
As far as my testing the Whistler OS It is fantastic,Eventhough
it is a lot incomplete it already works fine for me,
There are numerous small but really very useful Enhancements :
1)when you have IE And some other software going on at the same time and you open a another IE window it teams up with the existing one it may seem silly but really USEFUL!
2)There is also a sound enhancementin the SOund Applet in the Control PAnel
Which has Many plugins for sound enhancement ,It produces DFX like sounds when enabled ,It also has support for many different kinds of Speakers,,,
I think thats it for now ! Shall come back with more Tips and Tricks 😉

I have whistler beta 1, but I haven't installed it yet. Is it pretty safe to install it when you have win2k installed already and NTFS? I'm planning to install it on another drive too, IE D or E: just so it makes it easier to uninstall it later without screwing anything up. Anyone have any experience with win2k and Whistler dual booting, please post your experiences.
