I am posting on my Toshiba laptop from Windows Vista Ultimate. I needed to do a reformat on my WinXp Pro anyways, so I backed it all up, deleted partition, created 2 partition's, and so on. Overall, it seems to run good, my specs are Celeron M 1.6ghz, 448 ram(after video), 80gb HD. IMO it is really just eye candy to me, something new to look at. I was hoping for a complete revamp. Everything of course does look different, don't get me wrong, but what exactly is different in Windows Vista Ultimate from WinXp Pro w/sp2? I have it on a dvd as a bootable dvd - if you want a copy and live in the Dallas area, PM me and we can get you rolling.

There's a lot more there than you think: Features New to Vista

Why not just show them where to download it direct from Microsoft (for a limited time only).

It was stated as soon as the beta was released for the customer preview program, that the version was Vista Ultimate...

I can't remember exactly on the site it stated, but it is there, in "black & white"..

If it was ready for that it would be released. I think it's probably safe enough but not stable enough.
